These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lexaroo (the "App"), provided by For Kicks Only ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. If you are under the age required by your jurisdiction to enter into these Terms on your own, you may only use the App with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Your Account
The App creates a lightweight, anonymous account for you so your scores, leaderboards, and preferences can be saved across sessions. You do not need to provide an email address or password to play. You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your account on your device. You may permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete Account).
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its servers;
- Use cheats, automation tools, bots, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage, including submitting falsified or tampered scores;
- Upload, post, or transmit any content (including group names, descriptions, or images) that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law.
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice.
4. User-Generated Content
The App allows you to create leaderboards/groups with a name, description, and image, and to choose a display name visible to other players. You are solely responsible for any content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content within the App as necessary to operate the service. We may remove any content, and restrict or terminate any account, that we believe in good faith violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
If you encounter content or behavior from another player that you believe is inappropriate, please contact us at the email below so we can investigate.
5. Purchases
The App may offer optional in-app purchases (such as "Lexaroo Unlimited") to unlock additional features. All purchases are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their respective payment terms and refund policies. Purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by law or as permitted by the applicable app store. We do not have access to your payment card details.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, graphics, text, software, and trademarks, is owned by For Kicks Only or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, For Kicks Only shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in Section 2.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, except where superseded by applicable app store terms or local consumer protection law.
